Chrome Plating Process
We offer multiple trademarked finishes and typically plate onto mild steel and have particular expertise in applying chromium plating onto brass, which is a notoriously difficult process. Please note that we do not plate onto stainless steel or aluminium, although we do offer a finish that makes mild steel look like stainless steel.
We only use Trivalent chrome plating, which is a safe process that complies with COSHH standards and is safe for both our staff to operate and for the environment.
Our own comprehensive in-house facility allows us to prepare work to the highest standards for the required finish. Incorporating pickling, bead blasting and polishing, all designed to prepare work for the optimum finish. Followed by plating in multiple different colours and finishes, inspection between each stage and then protective packing, to ensure optimum delivery quality.
This means, that you deal with only one supplier, who is fully responsible for the complete job. We are a one-stop shop for your work preparation, polishing and plating needs, and we can complete your work usually within 7 days.
